Ryan Reynolds is once again expanding his impressive portfolio, blending his passion for marketing and business with the high-speed world of Formula 1. In 2024, Reynolds, alongside his co-star from Welcome to Wrexham, Rob McElhenney, made a €200 million investment into the French Formula 1 team BWT Alpine. The deal secured them a 24% equity stake in the team, providing Alpine with a significant financial boost to enhance their competitiveness on the track.

This partnership is just the beginning. After the investment, MNTN, a prominent player in streaming TV advertising, became Alpine’s official Performance TV Sponsor. Their collaboration began at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with MNTN’s branding displayed on the A523 race car and throughout key team environments at major races.

Reynolds has garnered a reputation for his business savvy, just as much as his acting career. He is known for his successful ventures, including the sale of Aviation Gin and Mint Mobile for large sums. He also co-leads Maximum Effort, a marketing and production company, alongside George Dewey. His influence stretches into Hollywood as well, with the Deadpool & Wolverine franchises breaking records. In 2024, Deadpool 3 grossed $1.3 billion worldwide, becoming the year’s second-highest-grossing film.

Reynolds has revolutionized how he approaches marketing. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he explained, “I think of marketing so much differently than I did before Deadpool. What used to feel like an obligation is now one of my favorite parts of the process. It’s an opportunity to frame expectation, then subvert it.”

His entrepreneurial ventures are also making waves on platforms like LinkedIn, where professionals and business-minded individuals follow his insights on innovation, marketing, and social impact. As his influence continues to grow, Reynolds is redefining what it means to be a Hollywood star, while making his mark as a powerful force in the Formula 1 world.
